Since 2006, street art influenced the way in which I create my artworks. There is an unapologetic protest and satirical element in graffiti which I try to explore in the works I create.
My stencil work questions and comments on how we interact with other humans, the environment and other beings. My work comments on circumstances in society where it is acceptable for people to be objectified and dehumanised.
Though I’m not setting out to be a graffiti artist, I have a strong interest in the dialogue that emerges between people and a work that appears in a space without permission.
