All three works by the same name, are created out of preserved animal hide/Blue Wildebeest skin. The hair on the hide has been shaven with a hair clipper in the same way a barber would shave human hair. This exposes the skin underneath and brings different tonal values forth. The artist used these tones as a guide to create the landscapes with oil paint. As an avid hunter, the artist explores the link between the beauty and preservation of the landscape and the animal skin through these artworks.
