Shipping & returns

Our Shipping and Returns policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions for use of our Website. Terms defined in the Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning when used here. 

 

SHIPPING

NewBreedArt offers 2 convenient methods of delivery of products to you. As part of the checkout process you may elect to receive delivery via:

1. Pickup

You can pickup your product from our designated pickup location identified in the checkout process. Pickup collection hours are weekdays between 08:00 and 17:00 (excluding public holidays). Please contact us to confirm your approximate pick-up time at the collection point so that we are ready for your collection.

2. Courier

We can deliver directly to a designated address anywhere in South Africa. Shipping charges will be added during the checkout process. Delivery and tracking information will be supplied after receipt of payment for your order. Orders will only be delivered to a physical address and no PO Box addresses will be accepted. Courier charges may vary depending on the price, size, packaging and delivery location of your order and will be added to your order to form part of the final checkout amount.

NewBreedArt does not at present process orders or deliver outside South African borders. Should you wish to have an item purchased and shipped internationally, please contact us to discuss the possibility of payment and shipping arrangements.

Should we accept your order, NewBreedArt will deliver the products to you as soon as reasonably possible. Although we aim to deliver within the indicated times on our product pages, we cannot promise you an exact date of delivery. Lead times provided are indicative only and final delivery timeframes will be communicated to you after acceptance of your order and receipt of payment.

Please note our obligation to deliver the products to you is fulfilled when we deliver the products to you at your nominated delivery address (courier option) or when you sign for the products on collection at our pickup point (pickup option). NewBreedArt is not responsible for any loss or damage to any product, after it has delivered the products to you at the delivery address nominated by you or you have signed for and collected such from our pickup point.

 

RETURNS

The return of any products purchased from NewBreedArt will only take place in accordance with the following:

Unwanted products

We wish for you to be satisfied with the product that you have purchased. Given the nature of art and that it is a handmade product as well as the personal nature of an individual’s experience of the product as a work of art, it must be understood that NewBreedArt cannot necessarily accept returns and refunds solely because products do not meet your expectations, but are not defective.

If however, you are wholly unsatisfied with the product you have received for reasons unrelated to a defect or damage, you are welcome to contact us or log a return on the Website against your orders and arrange for a return of the product to us within 7 days after delivery or collection of the product, provided that the product is returned undamaged and unused in its original packaging/boxing with all accompanying pieces, parts, documents or accessories included as was shipped to you. For such a return you will be responsible for the reasonable courier charges of such a return, unless you return such yourself to our pickup point.

Upon receipt by us of the returned product and if we are satisfied that the product has been returned complete and undamaged, we will refund or credit you (at your preference) for the product within 10 days of receipt of the product by us, less any reasonable courier charges.

Delivery of incorrect products

If we by accident deliver the wrong products to you, you can contact us or log a return on the Website against your orders and we will collect the products from you at no charge or you can drop such at our pickup point. Please note that the products must be returned undamaged and unused in the same way as with unwanted products.

Upon receipt by us of the returned products and if we are satisfied that the product has been returned complete and undamaged, we will refund or credit you (at your preference) for the product within 10 days of receipt of the product by us.

Goods that are damaged

Should any product be damaged / defective at the time of delivery or collection, please notify us within 10 days of such delivery or collection by contacting us or logging a return on the Website against your orders and we will collect the damaged / defective products from you at no charge or you can drop such at our pickup point.

Upon receipt by us of the returned products and after we have inspected the damaged product and validated your return, we will at your choice either replace the damaged/defective product with an alternative in-stock product of similar value of your choice, or credit your account with the purchase price of the products, or make a refund to you within 10 days of the return, whichever is your preference.

When considering whether any product is damaged / defective, please remember that the products are handmade and as such may be accompanied by variations and imperfections arising from the creation process. Such variations and imperfections are natural and do not cause the product to be damaged or defective, unless the variations or imperfections are of such a nature as to make it less than acceptable to what would be reasonably expected under normal circumstances.

Please note that we only refund any payment to the payment method that you originally used.
